Cyber Resilience Act enters into force

On 10 December 2024 the Cyber Resilience Act entered into force. The regulation aims to:

  • establish boundary conditions for developing secure products with digital elements by ensuring hardware and software products enter the market with fewer vulnerabilities.
  • ensure that manufacturers prioritize security throughout a product’s lifecycle.
  • creates conditions for users to consider cybersecurity when selecting and using digital products by, for example, enhancing transparency, such as clarifying the support period for digital products available on the market.
